REQUESTING REACCEPTION AFTER QAUTH RECREATION
As a security measure, all Qauths that have been recreated after beeing accepted on dotapickup (were not used on quakenet for a period of 80days) have to be
reaccepted by us.
When you join again after beeing inactive for said timeframe the bot will check the creation date of your Qauth.
If the Qauth has been recreated since we accepted or reaccepted it the last time it will be marked as expired.When you become expired it is no longer possible to stay on our channels until you are re-accepted.
Reacception is similar to requesting access as a new user, with the difference that you continue using your forum and Qauth account. The requirements and reacception wait-time is also considerable smaller.
We just have to make sure that nobody else fetched the vacant auth while you are really not using it anymore.
STEPS TOWARDS REACCEPTION TO DOTAPICKUP

Like every other request you will need to validate your account with ZeTool first before we can re-accept you into the community. You can find info about this in the startersguide or at the subsection of our forum named ZeTool.When you get to the step of making your Expired User request thread, instead of following the New User step, follow the steps below:- Go to the forum, and enter the New User Request section (where you read this post). Click on the "Old & Expired" subsection to enter it. Click the button “new topic” on the top right corner to create your old user request. You have to name your thread "Expired User <Day>/<Month>", so if you are making your thread on the 1st of January, your thread should be named "Expired User 01/01"
The correct syntax for making an expired user request is as follows (you can copy this format to make it easier for us and for yourself).
- 1. Your IRC & INGAME NICK - Stick to the one you write here! As long as you play on pickup! Or keep it very similar in the future. This nick should be very similar to the name you use INGAME, so people can see who you are.Changing nick = more problems = less games for you.
- 2. Your QAUTH (Q account NAME - don't include your password and do not give your password to anyone if you want your account to remain secure.)
- 3. People you know that play here – If you have friends playing here, you may ask them to vouch for you to speed up the process, but as long as there are no problems the reacception period should not take long.
- Note: If you have friends and they do vouch for you, they should do so by clicking the green up-arrow next to your post, they will be asked to provide a reason and afterwards you will see the amount of vouches you have. Tell them they should not post in your thread unless it is absolutely necessary as this can confuse things for the handling admin.
After you are reaccepted and your thread is closed and moved to the re-accepted section,
you may join all channels at will :)
