[BaHaya]

So I have played alot of xp games recently where someone drops and then a random guy gets this bug where he can only see the map (the water, trees, hills etc) and not any of the heroes, creeps or buildings. I myself have had it happen to me twice, and I have fixed it both times doing the following:

- Downloading another guy's savegame file and replacing my own with it.

Since I have no technical explanation I will just say this: The bug occurs as the bot saves the game, somehow messing up your own version of the game through your savefile. So it seems pretty easy and logical to just replace it with another's savefile. There are still two problems as I see it though:

1. The first time I got the bug and fixed it, the same guy dropped later on again and I got the bug again, and I had to finish that game because everyone was tired of remaking. So it might be that if you get it once in a game you are gonna get it again as soon as the bot saves again (if anyone drops).

2. If the dropper is on the other team. (I don't actually know why but people always say it has to be someone from the same team that uploads the savefile, so I assume it doesn't work otherwise.) You probably shouldn't go experimenting with this even if you got the bug and the uploader is also from the other team.
(I dunno if someone from your own team can upload his savefile for you or if that fucks everything up? Since savegame sharing is only made possible through the bots I can imagine that only the savegame uploaded to the bot is valid for sharing but dunno.)

I don't know if anyone else knew about this but I haven't seen anyone talking about it and I don't even know if the bug is that common, it just occurs in my games too often to not tell everyone :P

It's just your crazy-ass computer. The only solution as I see it is FORMAT C! :D +1 and so on :P

Happend 3 or 4 times in my games, all the times it was when someone shared their units.

If someone drop from the loaded game

If someone share units that didnt share units before save

obviously the problem is: you drop -> you dl the save -> you reload ;; another drop occures -> you try to edit the dled save -> save goes crazy

thats the reason why u are only able to rehost once with the bots....means: first dropped -> lucky --> second one owned


Imo thats a big problem. Its not fair for the second guy either I dont wanna say "no reloads just play on like LC" but something like that would be the only real fair solution

That is actually not the case as far as I am aware. The "everything disappears" issue occurs when somebody else drops. I.e. two games yesterday someone else but Bahaya dropped but still his game was corrupted. The same solution is available if someone drops a second time. Currently do not know what happen if you are on the other team than the leaver though. Does anyone know if the person can use their save game?
