Hey,

The reason which made me write this thread was my last game. The situation is very simple to explain.


- We hosted with Hostbot a xp game ( Sent: s|eepferdchen + RaT|VibeZz Lst192boina Zaptor Knut-theicebear ---VS--- Scourge: masterfuQ + mushi^_^| nirv krebsi Vertig0- - AvgXp 1157 -> Normal Gains - Sent.....|.....Scou - GID5088 )

- krebsi droped at 18.xx ( we dont know why )

We instantly paused the game and asked to use the epic bot function of moi's bots, which makes it possible to send the droped player the gamefile and continue a 5on5 game. Insteed of listening or even caring about a nice fluid game seepferdchen kept on unpausing and demanded to play a 5on4.

And now I am asking :

Why does admins/ people even create such a function (which makes DP special and better then every other place to play) when we dont use it?

Why would anyone enjoy to play a destroyed game like that, when there is the chance to get the droping guy back and have a nice 5on5 game?

I remember Cip saying once : Rules are made to have good games and not to find ways to abuse them
I know for sure you will say "I just did not agreed to rehost with save file from bot, because u didnt agree to a rechallenge after I randomed my players"

I dont like his attitude at all. Neither I think that he knows the rules properly or respects them. Readding in such a case ends up in a ban, you should know. Maybe this attitude and behaviour is aprecciated in other leagues, but definitly not in dp.
Only because there is no specific rule which says "If there is a possible way to make a dropped player join the game again and play a fluid 5on5, it must be used" does (!!!!) not mean (which is logical) we wont rehost with save. This case really reminds me of, how people refused to rehost for LagunaB when he droped, even we had save file which was 6 minutes old. Those people really claimed about the 1 minute.....

I agree, that if its possible to rehost save with all 10 players, it should definitely be done. Not because rules say so or not, just to be fair and play decent game. LoL Shame on You seep. :)

I watched when your game started in IRC, and according to your logic it would be the "right" thing to redo the picking  when he picked wrongly - right? Why would Seep ever be nice to you when you yourself were not nice enough to redo picks? - What comes around goes around.

I really think you should close this whole thing and save yourself the embarrassment.

Tbh, Seepferdchen is one of the nicest guy in here around as captain. I always love to play under him with him, since he doesnt do retarded shit, knows how to pick and never flames ppl for bad play. This is my experience with him.

On the other hand he could have tried that save bot. But it doesnt always work, from my knowledge(we had one game where it didnt work). Anyway why do you expect him to be nice after you didn't let him repick.

I dont get why some people bring forward the argument, that I didnt want to rechallenge. There were several bans duo to "unnecessary readds" and yes I already got banned once for this aswell. Why should I risk a ban here? Doesnt cip implent enough time to pick? Didnt the Captains ask each other, if they are ready? To say here what goes around comes back around, is just out of topic. This thread is about something else.

I personally have no issue with seepferdchen, but this behaviour is really common for idec ihcs pride or other leagues, but not here. Thats my opinion and specially experience

Why not use the bots save function to keep a good 5on5 going instead of just say "no" and unpause the game. I know there is alot of people in this channel who only plays to get the xp and dont care about the rest, but believe it or not there is people who just dont give a shit about the xp and just want a nice game without any complications, and I'm one of them. And why do you people compare not allowing a rechallenge when he fails to pick with a person dropping from the game which ruins the whole thing? Even if nao didnt let him rechallenge, why should the rest of the people in the game suffer from seeps action?

Generally i think the creater and the supporter of this threads are "right".

Specificly this case i think he has the right to not agree on it even if it might be "rude" in first place, but have you ever thought about that he was stressed on that day or maybe had a headache ? so i wouldn't take it too serious if some behaviour like this happens now and then and doesn't become to a usual treatment.
( and please don't come up with the argument that he shouldnt play dota in xp when stressed etc.. maybe he got stressed while game or whatever !! ; ) )


We all should all cooperate with our opponents in such cases and try to give the best possible chance for a GG

+1 to furor BUT like nao said this has nothing to do with the irc thing.. ppl got banned for forcing readd, SHE allready got banned for readd and i can understand her to not force a readd cause seep was to slow for picking :/

btw i didnt know that its possible to send the dropped guy the save via bot cool stuff

you insist on the rules so you dont get a ban, there you go:
- If someone drops after 15 min, any team can FF from that point. (5 man team with 5 votes, 4 man team with 4 votes). No readd!
- You must include leavers with negative id in !xprequest. If leaver drop less then 2 min till throne down (not FF), you don't include him with -. Just banrequest.

you can mark him as leaver and banrequest him, but as it is now, you do not load the game from the botfile. you can offer him the load, but if he doesnt want to you have to accept the "no". it might be changed in the rules after some testing, but as it is now, seep didnt act unmannered or anything, just according to the rules. like you did in irc with picking.
