Recently Cip stated in irc "no garena in pickup". A few days before i saw Laguna playing on garena in pickup. So whats the rule now?

You can't force people to use Garena if they dont want to. Simply if one in team disagree you have to stick to hostbot or LC. Same with modes, if all want arscwtf they can do.
In XP tho there are several games hosted on GGC, cause all people agree, cause of alleged better Pings(imo it feels better than LC yeah).
The problem with GGC is known, people can cheat like there is no tomorrow, don't need to own the game etc, which lead to blizzard's cut in SC2.
I dont know how far this has changed since new hostbot, I still see games on GGC.
That's is my recent knowledge how things were dealt so far.
Best thing is to wait for admin. He got the clue =)

Simple. No garena. And LagunaB will not play on it anymore.
It's in RULES! Why even ask the question? LC (and soon hosting bots) are the ONLY possible ways to host a game.

Why i ask the question? Because i didnt know that Laguna wont play on it anymore and i dont want to get banned because i play on a hosting platform which even another admin is using.

Just because an admin did an exception that game shouldnt become "if he did it we all can do it" rule. Everything in rules is fixed. Only an admin can make exception from rules. And we will talk with Laguna to not make exceptions with garena anymore.

I didnt say that i think everyone is allowed to do it now. It was just confusing because it didnt happen only one time and the exception also affects 9 other players.

Some games we played with lc someone have spikes/lagg shoud it rather be readd if even ggc works with that host to all others ingame ? But ofc ggc can be a problem when lc works better some games 2. It just depends on the connection to each others.

don't think he hates ggc that much, its just stated in the rules that games NEED to be hosted either with LC or with the new host bots. Mainly cause LC was made for DP... (as far as i know) and the admin crew decided to play the games on LC. If you don#t like that you can still play on DI or somewhere else imo.

There are curently 5 maphacks for garena for free and only 1 for battlenet and its annoying to use it and can be detected sometimes. You don't lose shit if u are caught maphacking there. You don't even need warcraft. Stupid tool that allowed all noobs to make trilions of accounts and making blizzard disallow lan games in future. And I agree. Buy the fucking game if u like it.
Garena tracks ips of all users and with hacked arena u can actually steal ips and stuff.
There are TONS of bugs and abuses on that crap software. It's just bad programmed and we will never depend on external tools developed in asia with dubious staff (they hired pudge666). There is a lot more in background but u need to know one thing: garena and pickup dont go together.
And just because I idle in di doesn't mean I must like garena. It's their choice. They don't have alternatives. We have. (it funny anyway to say "we use DOTAPICKUP LISTCHECKER to host games" on other leagues.. especially di)

You guys are a bunch of whiners. Nobody remembers how it was to play dota on bnet all day. And nobody complained back then. LC gives more then enough delay with a good host then anyone can wish for. If Garena gives 5ms faster time... and your brain and eye and hand can work better with those 5 frikin miliseconds (thats 0,5% out of a second!) then you are some godlike human or some godlike whiner.

Yes, we remember, how it was to play on bnet, and we didn't complain because of the same reason you think di doesn't use LC: we didn't have any alternative, only bnet. LC can compete on delay with garena only and only if all players are from same country or have same provider or at least good routing between players, which happens rarelly. In most other cases, playing on LC, host has tremendous advantage over rest players. LC just kills games for countries like spain, greece, italy; its fancy when game has players from spain, germany with somewhat different providers, one swe, one dk and it usually ends up in n rehosts and following readd or autolose for some team just cuz 1 player cant play properly due to latency.
When it comes to playing heroes that are dodgers(puck akasha morf etc.) and u have to dodge skills with cancellable animation those extra ten or twenty ms (in almost all cases its not 5 as you say) are vital like hell in highskilled games and thats the reason all 100% competetive games, all cws/fws are played on garena.
Maphack? LoL. The games in xp that were played on ggc usually ends up with same ppl who been playing for long long time in same games and suspecting them using hacks is just not reasonable, noone is talking about ggc for euro games, noone is talking about ggc as mandatory platform, but same as in case with observers: if all 10 players ingame are willing to use ggc and face the tremendous threats of revealing ours ips on platform which hired hacker just because they want to play the game as they can at their best and not at level the platform allows/restricts them due to latency or routing, why not allow them to?
