http://www.garena.com/its almost like lan with an good host, you join via different servers (for different games) into channels and join then in "lan-games" (in wc3) the hosted game from some1.
It's not that nice as it sounds:
- no cdkey required: everyone with warcraft installed can play. YUK. That's why sc2 will have no lan in future. Blame garena
- Everyone can make as many accounts as they wish. Almost instantly. Spoofing is just as easy as with LC. At least LC gives us the IP and we can trace the idiots
- Currently there are MORE hacks on garena that work then on bnet. With new warden on bnet and major maphackers gone, only few remained and u need $$$ to buy it. Getting caught with them by a nice sweep by blizzard = cd key banned. Yummy.
- Pudge666 (a guy who did most famous garena hack) works for garena now. Now that is lol. Hire the hackers as moderators.
- Spam. Advertising. Most UGLY interface in the world, people acting more idiotic then on publics, admins with high sense of powers...
- Not secure. Crappiest piece of code program ever made. Hackers actually laugh at garena makers for their coding...
We are preparing something better for future. Just wait.
