OK so I disconnect after 11mins, net goes down. Rules say we remake.

- Drop before 15 min = remake ONCE with same players:
  ** If no first blood - remake with -ap (same heroes to same players)
  ** If first blood already made - remake with the mode you added for (rd or cm)
  (If guy who dropped doesn't show in 5 min, ban and readd. No xp gains!)

I jump straight back on IRC and explain that my net went down mysteriously, should be fine now, its been rebooted etc. Everyone ignores me.. it turns out they decided to play on. My 4 teammates inevitably lose and now apparently I deserve -67 XP because they decided to ignore the rules. I don't know what to do here, banrequesting those 9 seems a little bit silly, I'd like an admin to chip in here.

hey, I just properly read the .xp rules now and I rechecked the "evidence" and noticed that you left earlier than the 15 min mark and that the fault was ours...
   This was my first game on .xp and thus I didn't really know how to !winreq (I still don't know tbh), and since no one else did, I asked some of those who were in my team if they had time to tell me how to do it (it had passed like 10 min or so since GameEnd) and so psic0 helped me out.

And then I winreq:ed. I still don't know what the -2 means. I should've read the rules more carefully I guess, but everyone wanted to play on and since it was my first game I thought that was the way it goes. Note that I'm not trying to blame anyone else, I was the one who winrequested in the end, but my intention wasn't to make you loose 67 exp, I still don't know how the exp system works... =/

I didn't even notice you had dropped. There has evidently been made a mistake and the easiest solution would be if you could manually remove the gains and losses from the match. If a punishment should be dealt all are guilty and not just the win-requester, who only did it in good faith. You could have been more eager to get the players attention by PM-ing the host or the players of your team. A bit shady of psic0 to tell Ash to winrequest instead of himself.

apart from ppl saying they didnt notice a disc and played on for half an hour (...right! :^D) or ballsy ignorance of those others, i wonder why nobody but the freshman tried to validate and psic0 took enough time to explain how it works.. smelley to me tbh.

ashet, it's good that you admit the mistake,but not knowing how to process your games correctly does not excuse a wrong validation. it's clearly stated that you have to get the knowhow from the forums.. and all the needed info (including possible punishments) is accessible here, so you most likely gotta deal with the (in this case possibly alleviated) conseqs.
be sure to read it all up now and learn from it, so others can't use you for false valids again ;^).

in the end the keypoint is not timje (why should he lose XP or even get a ban now? rules clearly regulate this particular case which free him of a ban or loss, because he was available for the specified remake) nor ashet, but those others acting ignorant and/or seemingly manipulative.

Yeah iZZ, I agree pretty much with everything you said. The thing was that I got pretty confused, that's all. I'll obviously take any punishment the mods see fit.
