As this thread got stickyed, i think i'll put a bit more info into this one.

The intention on this thread is: I play alot of games here, i dont consider myself pro in anyway, but i got advanced knowledge of the game and a good feeling for it (the 6th sense kinda thing, not the maphack thing)

Also i LOVE playing here, and wanna help to make it a better place.


What i will tell you if you ask me "and i encourage others that reply here to do the same" is:

Mapawareness - (when i play with you, do you catch the movements of the enemys, the allys, and react/ping to them.
Micro/lasthitting - (Micro your hero, do you move your hero right, an example could be against ShadowFiend, do you use static movements easy to calculate, or are you always avoid his evil spell so it doesn't hit you that often, lasthitting is about lasthitting but also very importantly (if not more) denying.
Itemknowledge - (Itembuilds, nothing special about this as its different on all heroes but if you choose stupid things it goes here)
Presence - (Did I feel you were WITH the team and playing as a TEAMgame or did i think you were playing solo)
Gamefeeling - After a game, i usually have some feelings about a player, did i like him? or not? were i enjoyed or not? theese are the questions i ask myself before watching a replay
Manners - (If you helped in teamchat, constructive vs sacastic, did you taunt, did you flame, all that goes here "and THIS is more specific a "game-thing" as 99% of the time i dont know the players beforehand)
And last but not least i ALLWAYS upload games we play nomatter how much you sucked or ruled. I love proff :=)

This is the way i handle this, i dont expect others to do it as its not at all a requirement for vouching.

I didnt ask for it. I didnt even consider asking for it. Im not eager to play with em, i eager to help the channel in general, and this is the best way i know how.
And if you were lucky enough to watch the first post i made you would notice that before sticky it was realy poor and just a small post. But, as its been stickyed ill take it more serius, and thats why ive remade the post, also its not as fun as you might think doing all those games, it takes about 2-4 hours per app to say MY oppinion about em, cause i allways watch the replays to see if i missed something great.

So about the listning part.. no i didnt listen, and no i didnt ask for it to be sticky :)

You shouldn't vouch based on one or two games.
Otherwise it could turn out bad for you.

But ofc, if you want some games, you can msg me on irc, too...

is it just me thinking this aint a good idea?
i feel like this turns more to the "ok player does some sliy games to get a sneak-a-peek for xp-vouches" ?
moreover i assume through recent incidents with vouched players turning out loco we should not enable a basis to go wild with vouching players after 1,2,3 games...  .


its more productive to steadily pay attention to others and leave a brief comment in their open xp-EA thread, followed by a vouch/unvouch after you fully made up your mind on him based on more game-experiences.

I wont vouch after 1-5 games. I just want to see how good they know dota. I will ask them several things about items, heros and stuff. At the end i will give my opinion in his request.

in my opinion the testgamers list should be updated.
the supporters should at least be active themselves in xp chan.

i apreciate your intention to help, but vouching someone into a place you dont even know makes little sense to me.

from the current list, i only know jimie from games.

Yes i am still keeping an eye out for updates, but i cant be 100% sure that those that signed are still active. I havent had any pm's from them. gl
