I dont think xp should be reset, given the reason just above by gr4nd.. though I do think that there should be some kind of decay of xp for ppl who went inactive. my thought
do you realize that decay is an option only when the minimum xp is a constant? With the current elo system, what should be that constant? |

Isn't that XP-system supposed garant a fair and exciting game for everyone? Ppl with low XP should be happy about keeping it, because they will get some really skilled players in their team, which help them to win from time to time and improve their skills.
Instead of beeing happy about balanced XP and fair games people seem to look at it just like "give me that 100 points of free XP - now i got big balls"
What i want to say is:
Why waste a hard-earned improve of game-quality for just some "status symbol-XP"?

I have low XP myself and IMO, don't reset the XP, add new features, maybe make a ladder points system that does reset every year but leave the current XP for the even teams which I enjoy (101001011011 in xp2 ^^)

As said in several previous posts there is an option to reset XP but still balance teams based on earlier xp (for a while) until a new balanced xp will settle. Reset xp: Yes! |
