Id like to deny a removal of kalixvalen.

Since the beginning of the .xp feature i started playing with him occasionally. Ive had very bad experiences with him, both in my team and in the enemies team, yes ive lost games with him too. If you would have asked me 2 weeks ago i would have said:
"remove him".

But i admire him since some days. He is under surveillance. He is under big pressure, every game. Every move he makes, people analise replays, trying to find something which sucks. Of course you will find them!
I could watch every replay and find sucky moves of seriously ANYONE, my games are full of shit moves i do myself.

But he still hasnt give up guys, he still fights the game, why trying to stomp him down with every bad move you observe from him. Dont break his moral.
I am noticing that he is becoming much better each game i play with him. He listens to advises, and tries to help the team, he gives his best.

Thats what i want to see, people who evolve, become better and if we manage that with the surveillanec, ok - fine.

But please dont break his moral with each post with bad moves of him. Please guys, i beg you.  undecided

Nice that you bring this to attention MrMojo. Finally some sympathy in this part of the forum. People can't seem to grasp the the pressure surveillance puts on a player. More than often I see the best players (xp-wise) vouching for the removal of the lesser skilled players. But hey, they don't deserve to play in your xp-chan right? If he tries to improve his game, and actually shows some improvement then cut him some slack. In the thd-axe game, why do you even pick terrorblade with visage and dk in your team. Three farm heavy heroes is often a way to fail. I feel that kalixkalven feels he need to have imba-items when the game ends, so he aims for farm. This means he can't help the team out as much. When he goes support with warding he gets shit for feeding. When he tries to farm he gets shit for not helping team out. When he chooses a jungle hero he gets shit that he steals farm from the one that picked a jungler after him... If you look for something negative you will always find it.

Maybe a bit off-topic but I have to draw a parallell to my mate westin. He grinded in euro to reach those 500 games. We played a game together in xp right after his 500 game, that is his first xp game. He chooses viper and babysits riki in the lane. After 60 min he has bot, 4 wraiths and sange and ofc gets under surveillance for this. His first xp game! And with it he lost the motivation to play in xp.

Yes you are skilled players, and yes you are better than most of the guys here at pickup, but try to actually use that to teach (yes you can teach in xp too) the noobs. One bad game and you are under surveillance, and then the fun flies out the window and the pressure begins.

strong words you put out there gladiuz and mojo, and i agree, ive seen both bad and good from him, nothing compaired to others might have seen, but i say as you did that he is trying, and letting him try evolve then just shove him to the side is way better. hope he will be allowed to stay for awhile longer and maybe get this off him.

Bascily what you are saying is that you want to remove the whole 'under surveillance' thing as long as they are willing to "learn" and keep trying?

I don't agree with you, sure he has played those 500 games and should be allowed to play in .xp, but for what price?

I don't sit and analize replays and look for mistakes that he does, I have even played some games with him where I don't feel the need of posting more in this thread. But even if he "ruins" 50% of all games that i'm in (both in my team and in the enemy team) so is it still to much. That's why I think in my opinion he should be removed for now with the chance of proving himself worthy again after he has played 100 pickupgames or so.

And just like Birdey qouted; "I am a bad player".

"ohh np he's trying to lern.. he got better manner now etc'.. this is mostly not about the manner.. this is about the skill lvl! and they dont have it = dont deserve to be in the XP ... YET! /bird

I understand your pov on this, but you must also keep in mind that this xp points/skill level is still new. People that comes from euro are not used to your skill level and the high intensity games. It's a rather big step for some of us to adjust to. And adjusting to new things takes time. Some guys will never adjust cause they simply can't take advice or play in a team. Some guys applies themselves and actively tries to improve. Look at toompa when he first joined SK. He wasn't even close to the others guys level. Nowadays he even carries games from time to time. But then again that's Loda and he has a lot of patience and beliefs that people can improve.
And why can't you say to the guys under surveillance that he tries to learn or he got better manners? Just say it, it's not that hard. Fine put a guy under surveillance with constructive criticism. Tell him what he needs to improve and let him play 10-20 games at least. If he hasn't improved then fine, send him to euro (where he probably won't improve). Give him some time to adjust and improve, if he doesn't, fine, do what you have to do.

Removed from surveillance after he had an average+ game with me.
