Imo rd is the best mode for a serious non-cw dota-match with experienced players because its much harder to get hero-pick-wins with rd then it is with sd. As we are playing in .xp players should be able to pick heroes to counter the enemy one's what makes the game much more even resulting in more fun for both(!) sides.

playing the same heroes over and over and over and.... is not fun. rd is like "dota basic".  ur team has 15 heroes to choose from in sd. that should be enough.

In sd its the nearly the same... If there are those "dota basic"-heroes in sd they will be choosen anyway and furthermore they can be all on one side -> hero-pick-win. Thats the point in what sd compares unfavourably to rd.

i would give xp the good old -ar mode! In my opinion it was one of the funnyest modes i can remember and it's ofcourse a lot better then rd where everyone pick's his favourit hero not watching what his teammates or enemys allready picked.
