So, while im sitting here. Thinking, I came up with an (what I think) awesome idea.
What about a ventrilo-server dedicated to xp people.

I mean, xp is suppose to be more organized and a better gaming experience, so a ventrilo server would just bring the people that play in .xp closer to eachother and make it more fun.

I bet there is plenty of ventrilos that people are using anyway, but wouldnt it be fun if all 10 or atleast the ones with microphone was on the same one?

This would also take away the bigger part of the edge when 3-5 people totally crushing the opposite team because the lack of communication.

So if this is possible to get, would you want it?

Or you could actully do, vt + mp3 + dota.. case closed. I have an external soundcard, so when someone talks, music automatically fades out, and back in as soon as he stops talking, pretty neat :) Requires more than one standard port though, and setting up the different input/outputs.

I have no idea what "1337 channel" is but since XP is for experienced, well playing, mature and grown up players I can't see any problem in going on a ventrilo and having even more fun!

I don't really care whats happened in 1337 or any other channel not related to pickup, but personally having a ventrilo server that's public for the members of xp would work fairly well.

Altho, personally, if i'm already playing with my friends, i'm unlikely to swap over vents. Also, some people may have language problems, since I can only really speak swedish and english.

Dont think language is a problem , since you can understand "miss , go nevermore , etc .." in english 
At least 99% players in pickup understand english i think.

Depends if someone has the server capacity to host a ventrilo server really. Since they have utterly retarded licensing restrictions, I can't help in that department I'm afraid.

I have one we can use until we find another one that can be official.
I made some rooms named "dota.xp 1" "dota.xp 2" etc, if you have other ideas for rooms or anything just tell me. It's a password on it and I dont want you to tell friends outside dotapickup.xp to join, don't want tons of randoms hanging out there if you know what I mean.
