Ah, what the hell.

There is a theory that I have. That I amazingly have not seen among all the non giver uppers.

If you never give up. If you are forced to play on with energy and passion. If you ,as in sports have a trainer, that inspires you to never give up, gives you the energy to fight on even if the game almost definately is lost.

Maybe then, with that background, you have a strong morale when situation is dire, but not impossible? Maybe that is when never giving up pays of? You are under 40/20 but that is nothing, you are used to fightin like hell when its 37/4?

"There is no reason for you to lie about that." What the hell are you talking about? Lie about what? If you're gonna call someone a liar you better state clearly what the so called lie is.

It shouldn't end in 5 lines of ff because I want to see a base destroyed, this should be rather obvious by now as I've stated it a million times.

"But fact is that the probablility of winning some games are very low, you cant really use it as an argment in a discussion like this." - I think this sentiment right here is crap. If I believe there is even a remote chance to win, I will try to win. Yes?

"The only arguments Ive seen leans to the emotional kind. Still, there should be a real explanation." Emotional motives do not suffice as explanations for actions for you? I think it's more fun when a base is destroyed. It is a nice emotion for me. Thus I will not ff. Emotion = motive. Yes?

I believe we are getting off-topic. The topic at hand is should we continue to use FF ruleset in .xp or not? My first post shows my support for the ruleset I believe. If you cannot understand why I do not FF by reading what I have written so far then perhaps you never will. It is not important anyway.

No im not calling you a liar.

I was just looking to see if there was any other answer to the question "Why do you like to bash on the throne?" than "because I like it."

So Chess is also a game where giving up is not allowed? I did not know. Still though, it is very very rare.

No, I've misread your post. Sorry. Of course you can give up @chess. :D

Ontopic: Cip summed it up quite nice, imo.

If you do not finish a game when you clearly can, xp might not be the place for you to play.

I doubt we will even have games like that (one team prolonging), so there is no need for a rule, imo.

was it really that much of an invisible suggestion to split teams and have tleast 1 non-quitter in both teams and win-win situation?

why would anyone need to play the game out? Sometimes you can see it'll be a fast game when just looking at the lanes/early play of your team. Whats so bad about ff'ing then, go play a new game and dont waste ~20 min ?

ff is fine really if used properly, when winning i dont really enjoy a walkover, and ive not really seen people ff many games they have a chance of winning, tho it does happen. Maybe a 60 min ff would be good

i only ff if i'm pissed at my own performance or my teammates.. never if the other team is playing good and deserves a full game.
so since there are better players in xp please leave the ff to .euro :)

Most XP games I've played in have been rather close games. That being said there will ofcourse come games where the score is 36-5 at the 50 min mark without the enemy trying to push. In those games I would gladely ff regardless of it being XP or euro=)

well teams like to play together in the same team. whats the point in splitting ur team up bc the enemies "might" ff at min 50 ? Jesus if u go with 5 u can end the games at min 30 if u want. why prolong the game ? its not like u cant play another one :D.
