I know alot of the xp players, enjoy the old school sprd style!
So that host wont always be getting 1st/2nd pick every single time etc!
So was just gunna suggest that either some sort of -sp mode, especially with rd!
Doesnt matter with sd as much

Simply just pausing at start of game, and everyone voting for if they want shuffle or not
Then 6/7 votes = shuffle it up :)

immo it can be nice, when there is a vote before the game starts ... but not just with 51% agreement (is there such a word?)...

the whole idea of rd is that ppl can still play with their friends but use the randomdraft to remove the "luck" factor
and the pickings themselves well hopefully ppl discuss what heroes they need and in what order they get picked, so whoever picks them doesnt matter, u can swap afterwards

You can always suggest a vote when the game starts, as it is now theres and sd and an rd mode, you can always poop the question ingame about playing sprd or spsd

Don't try to ruin rd when we finally got it in dotapickup! =)

Just like said before, ppl can swap the heros after picking, its just important to pick heros that work together and not 5 lategame omg pwners..

We already have sprd in pickup afaik? and last time I checked, it is not floded so it should not be too hard to get 9-10 Xp players in it from my experience =)

Pretty simple actually, wanna play sprd, then use the .sprd channel. It could use more active players. Adding SP to the xp channel, would mean less would use it, seeing as most now a days wanna add with friends.

Oldschool sprd? The oldschool mode is -ar, but anyway back to the suggestion.
Situation: I add in .xp with a friend. Game starts and 6 of the other 8 players vote -spxx. In that exact moment, should we(me and my m8) regret that we have added in .xp instead in .euro?

If this was a vote i would have voted -ar. I am so bored of sd and rd, good old ar in the main channel was nice. I only play pickup as last option for several reasons. Playing -ar on .xp would increase my activity :O
